Summer Daily Tea has arrived! The girls collection is online and ready to go. The boys collection will be online by late this afternoon, so keep checking back. The girls line came with a lot of singles, meaning that I only have one of each size in most styles, so if there is something you love, you better grab it before its gone!!

I love the colors of the summer line. They are totally different than any of the previous Daily Tea seasons. I have to say, that this is one of the cutest boy lines they have had ever! I love the graphics on the boys tees and the cotton shorts are perfect for summer play time!
I am going to work on getting the boys line up at nap time today, so please be patient with me!! It will be up soon! Have fun shopping the new styles!

a little lovie by angel dear

When Bubbie was just a baby, a friend of mine gave him the blue lamb lovie by Angel Dear. He immediately attached himself to his "lambie" and I knew that we were going to need a back up. I tried to find them in a store, but couldn't so I did the next best thing and placed a wholesale order for lovies to sell at MonkeeMoos. They have continued to be one of my best sellers ever since! Bubbie still sleeps with his "lambie" every night, he actually has two now that he sleeps with. We have a back up at my mom's house, but he won't sleep with that one because it's "too clean" according to him!

I have washed our two well loved lambies a million times now and they wash and dry wonderfully! You can find a wide variation of lovies on MonkeeMoos ranging from "lambies" to pink poodles!! We have given lovies to numerous friends of ours now over the past 4 years and it's so cute to see the little ones that have attached to and still carry their lovie around!

I have already show you how to mix and match some Daily Tea for little girls, but I fear I have overlooked the little boys. So with out further adieu, here are my favs for little boys!

My bubbie love his nibori t shirt with the indigo long shorts. (These shorts and pants are awesome for potty trained or being potty trained little boys... super easy to pull on and off!)

Another favorite outfit of his is the embers crewneck with the kuju long shorts.

Add the chi t shirt and you can mix and match four cute outfits already!!

Now that it is warming up, it's getting to be tank top time! I love the tank top style dresses from Daily Tea. They are super soft cotton and adorable on. I also love that they are only $21 a piece. You can carry these cute dresses into the fall by adding a long sleeve white tee underneath them and wear them over jeans! So fashionable! These dresses come in three different styles and run from size 3-6months all they way up to a 5!!

Another tank I adore is the apple tank onesie from Claesen's. My little bitty lived in her Claesen's onesie tank last summer, so I was so excited to get this one in for this summer! The print is super cute and this is adorable with shorts, or just to lounge in by itself on a hot day!

Today was a sweet friend of ours first birthday, which was celebrated at a local park. We gifted our little buddy with an Appaman number one tee to wear on his big day! He looks so cute!

My little bitty is sporting Daily Tea's asuka top and amethyst stripe bloomer shorts. This is one of my all time favorite outfits on her right now, but I would recommend going up a size in the shorts. Little bitty is small for 13 months and is wearing the 18-24 month shorts. They are a little big in the waist, but with a diaper, it works for us.

When I brought my little bundle of joy home, I learned with the best of them to swaddle--often and tightly. But it seemed that my little girl also wanted to be close to me. So, I got the peanut shell sling and all was well in her world (and mine, of course). The Peanut Shell is a great baby sling and comes in the cutest prints as well as cotton and fleece options. After being recommended the micro fleece for newborns, I got a basic black so my husband could also carry and bond with her. Now, she is 23 pounds and we can still be close when I carry her on my hip!

baby legs are perfect for spring time

Whenever I dress Gracie in Baby Legs people always stop me to ask about them. I loved them all winter under all kinds of things, but was ready to pack them up for next year, now that it is getting warmer. Then today I had an "Ah Ha!" moment! Baby Legs are the perfect accessory for the spring! I realized this early this morning while I was getting Gracie dressed. I really wanted to put Gracie in her green Daily Tea skirt but it's still pretty cool here in the mornings, even though its in the 80's during the day. It dawned on me to throw her Baby Legs under the skirt and then just pull them off as it got warmer today. (Okay, so maybe this would have been obvious to some, but work with me!). Today though I pulled them up a little higher so they looked more like leggings. They were super cute and she got lots of compliments on them! Horray for Baby Legs!

Pedipeds: stylish and best for little feet

As a stay-at-home mom, I will take hand-me-downs from anyone. I have no shame in diving into a disorganized bin of clothes at a consignment sale. But where I don't cut corners is with my daughter's shoes. Walking is serious business, people. And that's why I recently purchased a pair of Pedipeds for her. Recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association as a great choice for toddler feet, they have a cushy sole that protects your little one from any uneven ground (or stray toy) but also allows them to find their balance naturally. We have the metallic pink mary jane style, and I cannot tell you how many compliments I get when she wears them places. Strangers literally point and say, "Look at her shoes!" Then you need the Bink Link! Any mom of a paci baby knows how essential the paci clip is. Unfortunately, the ones you can find in stores are just not cute. I have recently found the cutest paci clips around called Bink Links! They are made from wood and actually stay clipped to the clothing or whatever you clip to ( I clip to the carseat buckle so I can always find our paci!). They have super cute patterns.

My favorite is the candy necklace. Everyone always comments on it when we are out and about!

There comes occasions in life where your children need to coordinate. Sometimes it for a picture or a party, but its nice for them to match. But I don't like my kids to be overly matchy matchy (ha! is that even a word??). I particularly like them to match though at the beach. We take a lot of great pictures at the beach and this is one outfit my little ones will definitely be sporting this summer.

For Charlie:

I will most likely pair this shirt with a pair of khaki roll up pants for the summer. I will carry it into the fall by adding a longsleeve white tee underneath and put it with jeans or cargos.

For Gracie:

I love the dress because I know we will get tons of wear out of it. This summer it will be worn just as is. Then to carry it into the fall, I will put a long sleeve white tee underneath it and throw on some jeans. She will be so stylin'!

The thing I try to do with dressing my kids is to invest in several great pieces for the season that I can pair with less expensive pieces and get great use out of all season long!
